We will participate in shamanic ceremonies at several sacred sites in and around Cuzco the Sacred Valley of the Inca and Machu Picchu. We will receive healing through the huachuma mesa ceremony and participate in a Q'ero despacho ritual. The despacho is a ritual with the intention of ceremonially giving back to Mother Earth for all that she has given us.
Twice during our journeys in the Andes we will have opportunities to experience Huachuma (also known as San Pedro) in a traditional way that has been practiced for thousands of years through the mesa tradition. Huachuma is native to Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador and Columbia and has been used as a visionary sacrament since at least 3000 BC.
Our journey will also take us to the Amazon where we will have the opportunity to drink ayahuasca with 3 different well respected ayahuascero shamans, Guillermo Arevalo, Norma Panduro Navarro and Percy Garcia Lozano. On the days between ayahuasca sessions, we will have options for other fun activities like…

• Visit the famous Butterfly Park
• Travel via river bus on the beautiful Rio Momon to visit the Bora tribe where they will present their traditional dances in their jungle Maloca
• Another river trip to the Yagua tribe to experience their culture and ritual dances
• Stocking up on Amazon healing herbs and incense woods from the famous floating market, Mercado Belen
• Visit the petting zoo where you can actually handle the ocelots, monkeys, anacondas and sloths
• Shop at other markets for native crafts and textiles
• Canoe rides on the Rio Itaya, a tributary of the Amazon river
